wat is the bare minimum you can pay to get an apartment in san fransisco or LA?

i dont care how shitty the place is as long as im not gonna get jumped by ******** or spi cks. sorry about the language i was hoping it would more vividly illustrate the only characteristic that i will not accept.

Considering the fact that both San Francisco and Los Angeles have a wide array of people from all around the world, the price doesn’t matter. You’ll still have a risk of getting jumped if you bring that behavior in either city.

Bottom Line: Stay in Alabama. It’s obvious you’re not ready to come here.

More than a 3 bedroom house in most parts of the country, and you still might get jumped.

The bare minimum for a place that isn’t a broom closet in the hood is $1000 a month. But with that attitude, I doubt if you’d survive long enough to save up the security deposit.

You probably would be jumped anywhere by anyone, LA is not the right place for you.

Section 8 voucher (housing money from the government) amount for LA for a studio is almost $1000 a month, for a one bedroom, about $1200 a month. This is welfare help for the poorest people, this is what the government is willing to pay, so it is about what the minimum rents are in the least desirable areas. (Why would a landlord charge less when they can get that amount guaranteed?) Nicer neighborhoods will cost more. Anything less is likely a scam.

    San Francisco is more expensive.

But really, this isn’t the place for you.

It depends: Will you be wearing your white hood and robe, or not?

Sorry about the language, but racist Nazis are generally not welcome in LA, at any price. If you can adjust the attitude and don’t mind living around people who have all their teeth and don’t marry their cousins, you can expect to pay around $900 per month for a studio in a decent (not great) part of LA.
